Biography

To create is to “breathe life into” the subject in process. To see it stand with might. To make a statement on a deep, personal basis: a basis of feeling and emotion, whether it be ecstatic or depressed, love or hate, as portrayed through the use of imagery specifically devoted to each concept, idea or thought.

 

The goal of my work is to help me understand unconscious levels of experience and of life. Many of my pieces are material dialogues expressing my opinions regarding politics and society. The result represents my exploration of and frustration with structuralist codes, which are accepted by society without questioning or understanding. My art enables me to see my environment outside of these rules.
